LIHIYA 源自史瓦濟蘭語,意思是「照顧與包容」,品牌結合了少數民族與原住民族文化,並以符合公平貿易精神的方式,向部落及偏鄉採購原料,設計、生產、行銷時尚服飾。銷售所得中有部份回捐給部落居民,並藉此改善部落生活環境、傳承文化資產、創造工作機會。

「為無法發聲的人發聲」及「單一尺寸適用於每一個人的服裝」是LIHIYA的核心思想,我們藉由服裝的設計讓女性感覺舒適,並樂於沉浸自身的美麗,不僅風格獨特,且蘊含來自不同文化背景設計師的社會經驗與故事。


“Speak For Those Who Cannot Speak For Themselves”. “One Size Fits all” is Lihiya’s concept of Fashion and Product Design. Our Patterns, style and textiles are intended to help women feel comfort and rejoice in their beauty. Our pieces are not only unique in style but also tell stories of the culture and society we’ve co-designed and manufactured with.


 
 
  
  
「設計」不只為了解決問題,更讓南島語族與非洲有了交集。
  
  




品牌共同創辦人Dumile&Tivamile姊妹,15年前跟隨當時身為大使的父親從史瓦濟蘭(2018年改名為史瓦帝尼)來到台灣定居,深深愛上這塊土地的人、文化與環境。

Dumile為了完成設計碩士班的畢業論文,走進深山部落與台東重安部落的阿美族原住民進行了文化研究,發現當地居民缺乏穩定的經濟收入,且因為生育率低,正面臨語言與文化保留的危機,越深入了解,她越發現部落的現存問題,創立利希亞是個契機,也是希望對文化傳承做出貢獻。



LIHIYA was founded by the designer sisters from Eswatini and the aboriginal leather workman from Su'ao. LIHIYA is dedicated to creating a brand that surpasses national borders and cultural barriers. The vibrant-colored ethnic style costume and sandals are their best-selling products. In addition, they offer leather class for grown ups as well as kids to bring back the joy of crafting. The mission of LIHIYA’s cross-national team is to help the underprivileged groups by purchasing and making clothes, and sending a proportion of the earnings to the remote villages.
